SIM not actiivated after 7 days

I applied online on the 12th of November 2013 for an iPhone 5s contract. An agent phone me the same day to complete the application. I requested that my pre-paid number be used as the contract's mobile number. The agent confirmed that it will be.

I received the phone on the 19th of November 2013 and assumed that the simcard would be activated after 24 hours as advised by the agent that confirmed the order originally. After 24 hours I contacted the call centre for activations. The agent informed me that she has started the process and it will be active in 24 hours. 24 hours later i was still sitting without any service. I contacted the call centre again only to be told that the number I requested needs to be reactivated as i did not use it for more than 6 months. The agent advised that I go an outlet and complete the relevant form, which I did. I then contact the call centre to follow-up only to be told that i need to pay R285 for the re-activation. the same agent then told me that i cannot get the number as it has been deleted. I finally agreed to take any number. It has now been 4 days and still no contact from Vodacom and no service. Who can I contact for an update?
