No improvement in Cell and 3G

I have reported the bad cellphone and 3G reception to Vodacom since 2008. My wife's is severely ill and bed ridden and she has to get out of bed whenever she needs to make a call or receive a call. On top of this her mobile data reception is equally poor so she can't even use her BBM or Whatsapp most days. My mother in law also a vodacom cellphone and 3G client suffers from the same issue as we live next door to her. Between the two households we spend nearly R5500 a month on our Vodacom accounts. To top it off, we are perhaps 800m away from the closest tower, so technically speaking we should not have these problems. In January this year, i received a call from Vodacom technical to inform me that another tower is being installed close by and it should be operational end of February 2013. We need to have this reception issue addressed, be it by installing a booster to improve our signal or sorting out the tower issues.
