Contracts not explained properly

After 6 months of paying R199 per month for the 24 month contract it was increased to R 209 - When i called to query the agents say that its for the 10mb that were free during the first 6 months. No one told us that once the 6 months were up that the contact would automatically increase - added to that, the airtime that is loaded cant be used to purchase extra mb once it has been used up - this contract is not user friendly. Vodacom has products that allow you to use your monthly top up amount to purchase mb... why hasn't the same concept been used at Mtn?
