My wifes contract (on my name) with MTN came to an end and since I wanted to keep my number, I went to the Vodacom Shop in Menlyn, (there are two) - the 4 U shop to port the number to Vodacom, since I already have other contract with them. First a very young and inexperience consultent told me it cannot be done and I have to wait 6 months, i told him it is nonsense and I want to speak with the manager, now they are strugling to select the correct contract to port me to, once this was sorted, they need to submit the port request and then confirm with a pin for all to go though and activate the new Vodacom contract, but this is now another week, and they cannot give me straight answers, also they do not get back to you when you ask for feedback. It feels as if I am not receiving any service currently - This is unacceptable service, should I rather go to another provider / shop?
