MWEB have got to have the worst Customer Service record on any company in SA and that's saying something. Their customers like myself have had to suffer for nearly a week now with either no Internet Service or a Service so slow it reminds you of the days of Beltel if you can remember that far back. While I appreciate that its not MWEB's fault that the Secam cable was cut, it is their fault that they have no working backup strategy! They say that they are using WACS and are at 90% but that is not true. Maybe their corporate customers are at 90% but the rest of us are hobbling along with brief spurts of connectivity!
MWEB experienced the same problem on a couple of occasions last year and promised to make sure they had a backup plan if it happend again THEY DONT!!
