I'M REALLY NOT HAPPY WITH TELKOM!

I ordered the R399pm internet package on 5th Feb 2013 & I was told to wait 7-21 days for it to be installed because I requested a new line. I called Telkom on 24th Feb after no communication was made with me & was told to pay a R700 deposit & all will be installed in 3-4days because my order was already being processed.

I payed the R700 deposit on 26th Feb & called again on 28th Feb to make sure my payment reflected. I was told that it has reflected. Telkom then called me to confirm my order that I wanted a new line with my order & my current land-line left as is "Talk Waya Waya". I was then told that all will be installed in 7-21 days. Disappointed as I was after earlier being told it'll only take 3-4days to install after the deposit, now it'll take 7-21 days, I decided to be patient & wait the 3-4 weeks.

Now, after patiently waiting for over a month still with no new line & internet connected, this morning (28 March 2013), I received mail in the postbox saying I owe Telkom R200.30. FOR WHAT!? I call Telkom & I'm told my current land-line has been changed to the monthly service (without my consent).

ALL I WANTED WAS NEW A LINE & INTERNET!
