I recently applied for a land line with Telkom, then decided to upgrade it to a 1meg line so I can get the internet. They told me that it would take 7 days. When 7 days was up I called to check the progress only to find out that the Meyersdal infrastructure is being updated and they can only upgrade my line in April. Surely they should of told me this in the beginning. I am a new customer and so far this is not a good start. I need the internet urgently and cannot wait until April. Telkom said 7 days i expect them to stick to their word.
