I went to the Southgate branch of Cell C to terminate my contract in September 2012. My SIM card stopped working but I'm still getting billed. I went on their website in December 2012 to complain on their "WRITE TO US" but I still got no feedback. I sent another "WRITE TO US" around January this year and I still got no feedback. If a channel no longer works, I feel a company as big as Cell C must remove it from their website. I ended up writing on their Facebook wall to finally get a reaction and their solution was to terminate the contract in the month of February. What if I didn't have a Facebook profile? What happened to the notification I gave in the store? What happened to all the contact I made via their WRITE TO US platform? I will not be dealing with Cell C ever and I'll make sure that I discredit them to my friends and family. What's sweeter is that I'm a procurement ofiicer in a JSE Listed blue-chip company and in charge of procuring mobile voice and data contracts, I will share my experiences when the current service provider's contract comes up for renewal.
