I have been a loyal Cellucity customer for the passed 6 years. I have always received extraordinarily good service from them and I have always recommended to my friends / family that they support this store.
Then came the i-phone 5 disaster.
I sms'd to be placed on the waiting list in September 2012. I received an sms to say that I am number 343. I received another sms to say the phone will be launched on 14 December and that I would receive an sms when I should come in. Its been one month since the phone was launched and I have received nothing thus far. I went to the store and was told that they have quite a few units, but those are being sold cash only. WHAT A JOKE!! So contract customers are worth less than the prepaid customer? I was told I cant upgrade as they are not upgrading contract customers.
A close friend went to the local MTN store and upgraded her contract yesterday and received her phone on the same day!! That is what I call customer service!
I dont know at what level the decision was taken to sell the phones cash only, but please know that you have lost a loyal client and I will relay my story to as many people as I can.
A response will be appreciated.
