My contract ended on 4th of March 2013, I called in on the 6th of March 2013 to cancel the contract as nobody from Vodacom informed me. After a heated conversation with the call centre agent at cancellations, my contract was cancelled. My joy was short lived as I contacted them to find out whether there are any charges on the contract, this is when I was told that I will need to pay the full monthly subscription as I already received airtime- but I haven't used an inch of it! Made numerous calls to the call centre to rectify to no avail, I was promised feedback within 24 hours last week Friday 15/03/13 and still waiting. My request if you expect me to pay, then give me the benefit of the service or credit my account? I've laid a formal complaint with the National Credit Regulator, because the call centre told me I have no choice but to pay otherwise I'll be blacklisted- talk about strong-arm-tactics. I do not expect a response from Vodacom as is the norm!
