Vodacom
Three Weeks and Counting - The Saga continues

9th March. Told at 12.30 to expect new phone replacement plus minus 12 noon on
11th March.
Phoned on 11th to advise unable to collect - I am handicapped and my prosthetic leg was sent to JHB for maintenance.
12th Mar. Chris delivered at 6pm and before I could see him he ran off.
13th found problems on phone, phoned Chris at 9am and again at 10 am but could not reach him. Left messages but never came back to me. Advised Kim of problems.
She came back to me, told me he would be here some time on 14th.
14th Contacted her to ask him what time he would be coming to phone me before coming so that I would not miss him.
15th March at 8.45 am told her that he never came and stressed the urgency as my phone is still not working and gave an ultimatum that if no response by lunch time it was going to Hello Peter. At 14.25pm I contacted her again, told her that there was obviously no interest in my problem and that it was going to Hello Peter.
Still no response.
In terms of the consumer protection act, I can give 20 days notice to cancel this contract. Is this what VODACOM would like to happen?
