I find this so unacceptable

How can after a period of almost 6 years one be contacted and informed that you OWE Telkom XXXX amount??? For 2 numbers?? When the one number in question was discontinued prior to a new one being applied for?? And the other I am actually not sure about at all. September 2012 received a call saying I owed & I queried this & asked for proof thereof stating that the # in question was a prepaid. The lady said OH it was prepaid and that was the last I heard.

Today 14th March I received another call from a young man again saying I have been handed over etc.. AND I have insisted on proof of this as I find it odd that if they can phone me on my cell HOW come THIS is the only in actual fact the first I know about all.. they cannot give me the address of one of the numbers - they state I need to check with Telkom. The numbers in question will be as registered as *your acc. I am totally mortified. I did all my transactions of disconnections over the phone as was recommended and I was told when applying for my new # that all was in order, as I had checked to ensure all was paid up to date.

To me this is a serious incident- one I DO NOT TAKE LIGHTLY. NO previous correspondence NOTHING
