Extra Charges to Access LTE

I Find it extremely disappointing that MTN has decided to make LTE subscription based whereas Vodacom has it available for free. There was no talk of making it subscription based prior to the launch. When advertising the iPhone 5 which i upgraded to they said it could run on the networks LTE system once tests were completed but never mentioned extra charges. If i knew there would be extra charges i would never have upgraded. Surely doing this is the same as breaching a contract because now i cannot access a service i was promised prior to upgrading. To make things worse they cant even decided how much they are going to charge extra to rob the poor subscribers. MTN is truly a ripoff and im sorry i ever upgraded with them instead of moving to a network that actually tries to help their customers.
