Querie about an outstanding balance

I activated a data contract on 04/02/2013 via the call centre. Since then I wasn't able to connect to the internet. When explaining it to the call centre, I was told to go to Vodashop to get my simcard tested as it may be faulty. After doing so, the salesperson at Vodashop found out that the serial nr on the back of my simcard did not correspondent with the serial nr on their system. When explaining it to the call centre, the agent found out that my simcard was actually deleted in Oct 2012 and the telephone nr was allocated to someone else again; therefore the reason why the serail nr differs. In the meantime there was an outstanding balance of R1232 on this number; wherefore I'm not suppose to be liable for, as I was not the person using the simcard. I have made numerous phonecalls to the call centre explaining what happended and each time the agent tells me that the querie will be given to the relevant department and they will contact me back within 24 hours, which never happended. On the system it also showed that the querie had been closed, because it was unclear to the agent who handled the querie what was going on. Up to date the querie had not been sorted out or someone called me.
