IPhone5 "No Service" and "Call Failure"

I received my iPhone5 from Nashua Mobile in December and have been to Vodaworld, the iStore and Nashua Mobile. Nobody can offer a solution that addresses the issue, but there seems to be consensus that it is either the device or the network.

Nashua Mobile claims that they will send the device to Vodacom for repairs, but that this will take 14 days and probably will not resolve the issue. It is unacceptable that I have to be without my business tool for 14 days! Furthermore I have to wipe it before handing it over to Vodacom to protect my confidential business information.

If that will fix the problem then ok, but it seems unlikely as nobody actually seems to understand the issue.

I have tried every other possible solution from upgrading to the latest firmware to wiping and re-installing my phone to switching off LTE etc.
