Phone not repaired properly

I purchased an LG E410 18th December 2013 which was meant to be a gift. When we inserted the Vodacom sim card and dialed *100#, the phone doesn't get a response back and you have to shut it down and start it up again. It gets stuck on "USSD Code running...". We took it to vodacom at Clearwater mall where we bought it from an the technician said we must take it to Nashua mobile??? Then Nashua mobile said that that technician is an and not supposed to send us there. They told us to go to Cresta Vodacom repair shop. The phone was booked in, we waited 3 weeks only to receive the phone back with the same problem. The phone has been in repairs more than it has with the user. I do not believe that Vodacom has properly tested the device on their network and don't appear to be capable of supporting it. I do not want a situation where the phone is in repairs with incompetent technicians more than it's being with the user and I have to suffer for it. Device serial number:357533050736023. Job number: 9538740-56168717. If you cannot resolve effectively and efficiently, please take the device back and refund back to me my money.
