I am not getting my vodacom account - they used to email it it, but then they stopped doing that and decided to post it. Post is an issue with the strikes, etc. So i called the call centre to ask them to email my address to me. But this proofed to be a problem. I know my email address and i know my postal address and i know my cell number and my id number. but i don't know the answers to the other three questions they asked to verify my identify (??). i am afraid i simply make phone calls - so i don't know what value added services are on my account (none i hope) and i don't know what my account number is (as i haven't been getting accounts for 6 months which is why i want them emailed). so, they could not change the address. because i could not prove that i was me... they would rather keep sending accounts to a customer when they know they are not arriving - logical?? and the agent upset me so much i actually cried. and he told me i had to self service (not sure what they meant so i asked and he cut me off saying he was trying to tell me and i wouldnt listen). turns out i had to send an SMS (why didnt he say so) - and they kept using my name incorrectly - incompetence!
