I recently received a threatning sms from the Virgin Mobile lawyers. This was very alarming to me as I paid Virgin Mobile what they advised was a cancellation payment for my account. They advised that once that payment was done, they would then cancel account. I paid this agreed upon payment, sent my proof payment and it was agreed between myself and Virgin, that I was no longer their client. 2 years later however, I get this threat from their legal team, a final warning to pay them or they will take further action. I have not been notified by Virgin Mobile in 2 years of any arrears, the last conversation with them was that my account was closed and paid in full. I have attempted to call their call centre, however, I hold for over an an hour, for 2 days I did this and no one returns my calls and I never speak to anyone constructive. I believe Virgin Mobile is extorting money from me if they could just call after a few years and claim I owe them money when they agreed 2 years ago I had paid in full. Who is to say this won't happen again.
