So after months of intermitent ADSL connection, I finally get trough to someone within the Telkom Group that was willing to help - it was arranged that my ADSL connection to the local exchange will be transferred to another node. Since then - woohoo!!! stable internet connection.
But, sadly incompetent Telkom Techies have full access to the exchange, right? Today at 9:00am (when these bumbling pro's start to work, I lose not only my ADSL connection, but also my landline connection. No problem, dial 10210 and log the fault :)
Not that easy when you get Mr Mosa Ndala on the other end - So I start off logging my fault, stating that I am calling from my office as my HOME landline and HOME ADSL is not working. Do I get a fault ref number - LOL - No!!! I first need to answer questions regarding my modem, i.e. which lights are on and what colour are they ...!!! I do not have binocular vision, nevermind X-Ray vision - I AM AT WORK and the fault is with my line at HOME!!!
Hahahahaha, sorry Sir I cannot log the fault because first I need to check the system. Sure I say, phone my wife at home, here is her cell# ... sorry Sir I cannot call out (WTH - Catch 22?)
