Handed over for HUGE bill I can't understand

Aug 2012 Iburst was cut off, I called, they said I was in arrears with monthly payment. At END of call the lady asked if was aware I owed R5888. Weird, since I was on contract for R299 per month, may have had returned debit orders, but that wasn't mentioned. Assumed husband had visited paysites, asked for detailed usage report on 3 Sept 2012 (ref 652974 and also ref 652987). Also she told me it has to be paid in 3 installments, no other arrangements can be made. Received usage report for August, stating amount due as R55 and change. Received letter of demand for R7441.29 on 15 Nov 2012. Called and got sent round garden path. Asked for bill to be mailed as I had been cut off since August, was told they don't do snail-mail. Waited for next shoe to drop. Called them 31 Jan 2013 and the responder told me the bill must be from sms competitions. If they can't specify the sites I visited, how can they assume that I enter competitions?? which i don't). He then asked me to forward him the usage report which had originally been sent to me, which is really weird because that makes it seem as though their departments don't interact at all. HELP!!
