Bought a cell phone for cash from Cna plettenberg on the 24 December as a gift for my 16 yr old child. I gave it to him for Xmas. However, he put it on and noticed the screen was faulty, I immediately put all back in the box to be turned on the first available date. On returning, I was told it appears an out of box failure and completed the form. After several calls I was SMS a bill for repairs as the screen was cracked -even though the form I completed and signed says no damage etc! I refuse to pay and then they returned the phone to who know where as some guy in George is insisting that I damaged the phone! I was sold a faulty phone and the sale's lady did not start the phone completely to check! In addition my phone was carted from place to place who says they did not damage it! I am now without a phone for over 2 months!
What is the purpose of the out of box failure clause when something is returned with in that period and they insist on repairing the phones, I paid over R3000 for a damaged phoned and now i want either a new phone or my monies refunded!
