Misinformed and now unable to cancel contract

I went to Sandton City Cell C store. I requested the latest Blackberry model with the QWERTY keyboard. I collected the phone but when I opened it later that day realised that it was one of the oldest Blackberry phones I have ever seen! I called the store to say that there must be a misunderstanding and I was promised I could cancel the contract and start a new one with the correct model. I went to the store and was promised that I must leave the phone there and that I would be called when I could come and sign the new contract with the later Blackberry model.
I then started having problems with dropped calls. I phoned Lynette at the store to chase the cancellation because I in fact do not want to stay with Cell C at all now because I have failed calls more than I do successful ones. I was promised that the contract would be cancelled a day ago but I am still waiting... and apparently Cell C's retention department do not have phones?! Haha! Okay, whatever. The TPHD is another phone number I was given, but apparently I am not authorised to speak to them, because I don't have a code to gain access to their call centre. So... I am a Cell C customer, just waiting, and waiting...
