From Friday the 1st of March I have been trying to resolve a technical request regarding my new contract with 8ta, and while all the consultants that assisted me were efficient and helpful, somehow the query never got resolved.
I called today to get someone to try to deal with this request properly and have it resolved and spoke to a very pleasant and helpful support consultant called Mandisa Cindi. While she was not able to technically resolve the query for me, she was nonetheless an absolute pleasure to speak to. She constantly updated me on what she was doing, apologised when the system was delaying, and was just generally a very polite and efficient person to deal with. She managed to re-open the case I had logged and contacted the technician dealing with it so that he was aware that the problem was not sorted out.
I think that every support centre consultant should take a leaf out of her book and learn the proper way to deal with customers, just the way she does. I think then there would far less dissatisfied and grumpy clients out there.
Well done Mandisa, and thank you for restoring my faith in 8ta.
