I refer to job number 863 9494- Blackberry 9800
If you would be so kind as to reassess your decision not to cover this
unit under guarantee.
I am told by your service agent in Vincent East London my guarantee has
been voided due to water damage/moisture
My point is clear this unit which is just over a year old has never come
into contact with water whatsoever.
When making this point to your technician I was then told moisture from
my hands could have entered this unit causing corrosion on the main
board and is therefore not covered by the guarantee.
This begs the question if one is not to touch this unit surely this is a
manufacturers defect in terms of inferior quality of material therefore
a warranty claim?
I am under the impression once a repair cost is above a certain level it
is no longer cost-effective for you to honour your guarantee therefore a
moisture/water damage is the answer.
In fact your water damage/moisture rejection rate should be made public.
I therefore humbly request you to reassess this decision.
