Here's my story
I own a galaxy S2 which i bought from MTN. In December 2012 the phone just switched off. I was told " the main board is damaged. so they replaced the board and power circuit. then in Jan 2013 the Phone did exactly the same thing and they replaced the same parts. now in march 2013 same thing happens again.
This time i'm told it's moisture damaged on the main board which they replaced in Jan and it's not economical to repair.
I think they don't want to replace the phone so just tell the customer he broke it. "warranty void"
How can a phone get moisture damage within 2 months apart from the replacement main board. please I'm not an that doesn't now about electronics i work with electronics and i live in Johannesburg.
I would believe lighting struck the phone before moisture damage on a new board. unless they repair the phones with old parts from other phones which landed in water or left open in the office to get damaged.
Unhappy customer
