I opened an MTN account in Cape Town. My contract ended in October 2010. About 18 months after my contract ended I started getting phone calls from Mtn stating that I still have an outstanding balance. The consultant advised me to go to m nearest MTN branch to go and find out more about the outstanding balance.
The MTN branch in Vincent did not have me owing any thing on their system. I contacted the MTN call centre and advised them of this and the consultant the advised that they wont have me on the system as I was handed over. I asked the consultant to please forward me a copy of all the calls made to add up to the amount outstanding, she then forwarded me a list of their calls made to me that was charged onto the outstanding amount.
Every time a different consultant contacts me and I ask for the proof - since I am the one that has to pay this outstanding balance that has like quadrupled I would like to know who and when I made all the calls that add up to the outstanding balance. Nobody at the call centre can provide me this information yet they expect me to pay.
Please I need to have this sorted out as I am tired of all the unhelpful phone calls to MTN.
