I doubt that anyone will even call me back. But for the sake of fairness, and since I am lodging a complaints to the Credit Ombudsman (and they expect me to at least contact you once more), here goes.
I really need help! I was sequestrated in 2008, but I am still getting a single debt collectors threatening me on a daily basis: VVM. (To the Ombudsman I included your contact detail, and since you have an attorney in your service, I am awaiting the forms to complain to the attorneys council).
I do refer them to the curators of the estate. However, one account from Telkom was on by business partners name, namely my sister. She got married in 2010, but they keep on making threats to her through a VVM debt collecting business. Its only R4100, but she is unemployed, and I am not yet in a position to pay it on her behalf.
They call daily (at least four times per week), send nasty SMS messages and threaten her with the police "who will arrest you and put your babies in foster care"...
What time of the day may they call her? They just called again at 14h23 on a Sunday, since they called 21h34 last night? how must I stop this harrasment? I offered to pay R150 per month, but they ref
