Customer service is not their obligation

I called in this morning to ask something incredibly simple - the number for Supercall Cellular, one of Vodacom's service providers. Siviwe told me to call directory inquiries to which I told him I had done already and tried all the various numbers on the internet, to which none exist. He then told me that he is under no obligation to assist me and I should try someone else. I asked for his supervisor and he told me that Supercall cellular doesn't exist and proceeded to list all the service providers they do have. I explained that I have tried every route to find their number and this was my last resort. He was extremely rude to me. Eventually he put me through to his supervisor who was able to assist. I'm annoyed that he spoke to me in such a manner and it had to escalate to him being extremely rude.
