Cell C direct absolutley poor service

Due to Cell Cs competitive rates I have decided to port to Cell C from MtN. I did this via Cell C Direct as it sounded more convenient than going into a store. I applied in January. Unfortunately at the time they were out of stock but I applied anyway.

The contract was approved but I received an SMS on 13 February saying that my port had been declined by MtN due to the contract not being terminated. I cancelled my MtN contract and informed Cell C who said they would deliver the phone within 5 working days.

On Monday 18 Feb I called to follow up on delivery. I was told the phone would be delivered on Tuesday 19 February.

By Thursday 21 February the phone had not arrived. I called to follow up and was PROMISED delivery on Friday 22 February. (Operator Fikile Dube)

Today 25 Feb when I called to follow up again I was told that both people I had previously spoken to had and that there had not been stock since 12 February. (operator Jackie)

The average hold time on cellc direct is about 10 minutes.

Not only are they selfconfessed liars but doing business through them is far more time-consuming than going in store.

I would like an explanation for this poor servic
