Blackberry network down - Call centre asleep

My Blackberry phone had a network problem which started Friday 11 Jan 2013, the problem was not isolated to my phone and it seems that it was a national problem. At 21h30 all Blackberry phones in our household still had the network problem and I decided to call 111 vodacom customer care (less) line. What a disgrace, was on hold for 25 minutes and Marianne was aware of the problem but could not say when it will be rectified, what a waste of time. Vodacom could have been more pro-active send out an SMS during the day informing customers about the problem. Guess what, Saturday morning I got an SMS from Vodacom, "Vodacom sincerely apologises for Friday's Blackberry fault which affected Europe, the middle East & Africa. A full investigation is underway". Thank you for encouraging news, however the network is not operational and it is Saturday 12h10.
