An account that doesn't exists

Since November last year vodacom has been deducting R708.00 from my account when I called them to ask what's the reason for that debit as I don't have any contract with them. They told me i do have a nokia E5 phone from them of which that was new to me as all i know is that i only have a contract with cell c of 2gig with a subscription of R135.00 monthly that i got via vodacom. I was told to go to the police station to write an affidavit so they can open a case against whoever responsible for the opening of this account. I asked my bank (fnb machadodorp) to do a follow up on that matter as I complained through them. But up until today I've not heard anything from vodacom and i'm afraid they might deduct again this month whereas I don't have any contract with them.
