My husband was offered a blackberry 9300 in January 2012 over the phone and this was delivered within reasonable time. He got a second phone around March/April through the same process.
Now the 1st phone we got stopped working, it had so many issues but when we took it to Cell C in Jan we were told: 1. They could'nt pick it up on the system
2. The plan/package the phone is on is no longer used by Cell C
3. When the phone was taken in, we were told it was beyond repairs

Now my complaint is, never mind the 1st 2 points; if the the phone is beyond repairs, shouldnt Cell C be offering to give a new phone seeing that we are still paying the contract and this wasnt a user fault, I mean every 2nd person I know who uses this model has the same issues and they never have issues with their cellphone providers. If the technicians cannot fix the phone why should we still pay for something we cannot use. We've tried contacting the call center numerous times but needless to say, we are not getting anywhere, we are still sitting with a phone that is just useles.

I would really appreciate if this would be sorted or we could just cancel the contract with no penalties
