I am extremely disappointed with the customer service received from Telkom. I run my own business & rely on my landline as my main source of business, coupled with yellow pages advertising & internet. As you can imagine I spend lots of money on a monthly basis with Telkom. Since, Thurs 7 Feb my phone started giving problems (making a funny sound), I thought my actual Telkom phone was faulty so bought a brand new cordless phone. Only to find out that it was not the phone, but instead the phone line. The internet also started messing around & I immediately contacted Telkom's customer service call centre to advise them of the error. I received no response by Thurs, 14 Feb and drove to the Cape Gate Telkom branch to get assistance. I was told that a technician would come out in two days to sort out my line. In the interim I received multiple sms messages saying my line was fixed, but it was not. I went again to the branch again today & once again NO ONE COULD HELP ME! I am SO upset as I have lost out on business for more than 2 weeks!! Telkom better fix this error ASAP or I'll be taking my business to Neotel! Plus, I've wasted money calling from a cell, buying a new phone and on petrol
