MTN you are pathectic

I have asked MTN to put me back on prepaid after being a contract customer for 4years.

I received an sms "congratulations, you are now on MTN pay as you go"

I got a new contract from Cellc and wanted to port, the port request was declined by MTN.

I phoned 173 but get a message "all lines are busy, please phone back later"

WHY WAS MY PORT DECLINED??? WHY AM I NOT ON PREPAID AS THE SMS CONFIMRED?
