Vodacom
Refusal to correct a spelling mistake

After deciding that I should move to Vodacom (after many years with another service provider) thinking that the service would be better, I am disappointed to say that I have not received the service I was after.
I signed up last year August and believe it or not, the in-house sales agent spelt not only my first name, but also my surname incorrectly. (I had my ID doc with me?!?!)
I have revisited the shop, sent emails, made calls and 6 months later it has still not been rectified. I am told time and time again by the call centre that I need to apply for a 'change of name' which is absurd as I have not changed my name, they made an error and seem totally incapable of apologising or fixing the problem.
Just last week, I went to the shop again and the manager of the store took the details and sent off all relevant paperwork... again. After I called back today she has assured me that it been amended. I can only hope.
