My phone line went dead on 6 February after a thunderstorm in Durban. I immediately reported the problem and at 18:31 received a text saying the fault was logged. Since then I have not once had any feedback from Telkom regarding the problem. I have phoned them at least 10 times and asked them to escalate the problem, but every time I am just told that someone will get back to me. It is now 9 days later, and still no-one has gotten back to me, despite all the promises. I think it is time to move over to Neotel.
