I applied for a new cellphone contract online with Mtn on the evening of 13 February 2013 after being denied a contract at Virgin Mobile for no apparent reason. I received a phone call from Mtn at 08h15 on the morning of 14 February 2013 to inform me that they received my application and that I will know within 24-48 hours if my application was approved and that I will receive my phone within 3-4 working days after approval. I also requested my cell number to be ported. Within 5 minutes after the call I received a sms informing me that my application was successful. The courier company contacted me the same afternoon to say that they will deliver the following day (15/2/2013). I also received a sms the same afternoon to inform me that my number was ported successfully. My phone was delivered today (15/2/2013). Very happy with the service and highly recommended.
