At 14:37 today I received a cell call from AAPC Value Sales Centre (an ALTECH-subsidiary)
regarding two new services (Tech support and a cloud-based "safety box");
I'm sure the call is on record, since I was assured of this (twice).
Since I was driving at the time, the lady agreed to e-mail me the info.
I deliberately made sure with her (twice), that the choice to adopt the (pay) service
would require a deliberate and conscious action on my part,
and not the opposite (i.e. auto-activation, requiring a deliberate deactivation).
Shortly thereafter I received SMS's and e-mails;
some with activation passwords, another referring to Order Ref no. AP971180.
and a Value Added Service "Request ref. number A10302133092" completion.
I HAVE NOT PLACED ANY ORDER.
I trust this is just a most-unfortunate choice of words (or else all will break loose...).
Could you confirm the nature/status of this "Order" ASAP?
