I got my modem contract with MTN, I always had coverage problems.when i moved to Meredale it got worse. In April I had to work from home & needed internet. My MTN modem was useless, I couldn't connect at all. I took my modem to the Sandton City store, they gave me other settings for my laptop because he said its not damaged. I went home did as told, called but still nothing. I stopped using it. Then in October, my banker (ABSA in Sandton City) advised me to change my account to a cheque, immediately after I went to the MTN and the guy helping told me I need the letter from the bank & I asked is that all? he said yes. I then went back the following day to the store, he then said no if you dont know the cell number you have to bring the modem and sim, I told him I have my ID he refused to help me, basically I was sent back and forth after 3 days of travelling from the South-North, I couldnt go back due to work I even sent numerous mails to webmaster but nothing. I remembered about the account this year& went to pay in order to close it, I was told I was listed as a slow payer, honestly THIS ME OFF, THIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE from your legal department to consultants pathetic even
