Bad attitude/Breach of contract/Passing the buck

I signed a new 24 month contract in January 2012 to get the new Iphone 4s. Around the 20th December 2012 my phone completely crashed and would not charge. The phone comes with a 1 year warranty so i was not worried. I took it into a Supercall store in Cape Town to be checked and they said thay would have to send it in for 4- 6 weeks. They did not lend me a phone to use so i had to go and purchase a phone to use in the mean time. 2 weeks later i am called in to collect and was shocked to find out that the phone was not repaired because the repair department said that the phone had been previously tampered with and therfore has lost its warranty. I could not believe it as i have never taken the phone anywhere to be repaired. I have been with Supercall for 20 years as a loyal customer and now thay are calling me a! I would gladly take a detector test. I then took it to Supercall Midrand and dealt with the manager there Aniel Naidoo and the same result happenned. I am extremely upset and dissapointed in Altech!! It is impossible to speak to a more senior manager and it has been over 2 weeks now and nobody has tried to contact me and remedy the situation.
