I am trying to phone Vodacom customer Service for the last 2 days. No response to my sms either. When I call, I get a message that says No service available.

I have a problem with my account. Recently, I had to get a new sim card after the old one just stop working after 2 months. The sim card was quickly replaced by my local vodacom shop and have been working fine. I am now however being charged for a connection fee of R97.00. I feel that I should not have to pay for this as it was not my fault that the sim card stopped working. The Consumer Act says that you could return anything that is broken within 6 months, which I did.
Is this another way from Vodacom to make more money? Disengage your sim card, then charge you new connection Fees?
