FTP and Secure Network Sites Unavailable (iTunes)

FTP does not work on the Telkom network. I have to connections, one to IS and one to Telkom. I can switch from one to the other using the same hardware. I have phoned Telkom every day since last Thursday and have been sent from department to department. The Technical Support person asked me what FTP was!
I am unable to update any of my websites internationally.
