I was called by cell c direct in Dec 2012 to "please upgrade my contact" as they put it. As painful as it was to do the upgrade telephonically I persevered and did so. I ordered a 32 gig i phone 5 on the equivalent to my current package as I recall (stand to be corrected). I made it clear to the consultant that I would be leaving the country and that I would like delivery of the handset before I leave. the consultant committed to this. Needless to say the phone was not delivered. I call on numerous occasions in Jan 2013 and Feb 2013 to get the upgrade activated and the handset delivered, with no success. on the 8 Feb 2013 I was made to hold for an excess of 25 minutes by a " team leader called Lizell de Villiers ". I was then told that I need to wait for the 16gig handset and they will only be able to deliver the next week. I was made to feel that I was at the mercy of cell c and had to understand all the things they where unable to do for me as a customer.
I still have no answer on what the way forward is and am at the point of cancelling both my contracts.
