After 4 days in Mozambique my cellphone services were suspendid with any notice or warning at or during that time. My normal cellphone usage in SA is below R2 000 a month. I was billed: International calls = R7.02, Roamed calls = R9 113.70. That is for 4days in Mozambique. On my return I phoned them and their response was I only had a credit limt for R2 500. I need to pay extra money to activate the service and then they would increase my credit limit, which I do not want as I do not need it. So I paid R4 000 and was connected again. I was in Mozambique from the 14th to the 20th of December and services were suspendid on the 17th of December 2012. I am not a cellphone junky and only my cellphone to check on emails received, but do not open them for billing reasons. I received apparently data downloads, I presume program updates during that time. That was for 3 consecutive days, more or less at 7 o'clock in the morning, and was billed for that more or less R3 283. That is more than the handset. All 3 downloads was of the same size "billing". Nobody adviced me about the horrendous billing charges and I had no control over it. The response is poor and with limited detail.
