I would like to raise a concern regarding a laptop contract linked to my Vodacom account (16739907), which I fully paid for but never received since 2017. Despite making regular follow-ups over the years, I was informed that the laptop was out of stock. I then requested for the contract to be cancelled.
Later, I noticed unpaid debit orders and realised the cancellation had not been processed. I made several attempts to follow up telephonically, but I did not receive any feedback.
Eventually, I visited the Vodacom branch at Chris Hani Mall in Vosloorus, where I was informed that I had an outstanding balance of R1600. I later found out the account had been handed over to Ncube Attorneys, to whom I paid the full settlement amount.
I also contacted Vodacom via Facebook Messenger, where I was assured that my credit profile would be updated. However, this still hasn't been done. It has been very distressing to have my credit profile negatively impacted for a product that I never received.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and updating my credit profile accordingly and also refund me provide the device I had not received
