We paid for a MS-CR650 MSI AMD Dual Core laptop on 2 July 13 based on the advise of the supplier. Since July 2012 the GM, (user) has been complaining about the speed of the laptop. Eventually she took it to the Agency herself after the supplier refused to do anything without charging us.(This was after numerous
e-mails & calls). The agent reported that there was nothing wrong with the laptop & that it is slow because it is an AMD Dual Core which is not suitable for business purposes. We had 3 different IT companies/individuals look at the laptop & they all agreed that the laptop should never have been sold to us due to its speed & it is overpriced. We paid R8, 648.95 for it! We requested they change the laptop ages ago, but they refused & said any upgrade would be for our account. Initially Clyde Field blamed us saying that we requested specific specs for the laptop, (which is a blatant as my boss ordered an inexpensive laptop that was suitable for our business. He has no idea about specs). Then his excuse was that we loaded too many programs!! What programs. Pastel? Clyde Field's attitude is 'make the sale, then stuff you...'! I now have to work on a friends laptop! NOT ACCEPTABLE
