So Sony, after ignoring a multitude of advice to get a Galaxy S4, I chose the Xperia Z because it was a Sony, and because it was different. The added features such as the IP57 certification only added to my decision feeling vindicated. How unfortunate for me that the after sales service remains at the garbage standard that has been in place since the bad old Sony Ericsson days.
How is it that a device, marketed as being able to take pictures underwater, CAN END UP WATER DAMAGED? This is an absolutely shocking decision from a company that is supposed to be interested in turning their consumer image around. Make no mistake, word of mouth is a huge way to market your device- ask Samsung. And my word of mouth feedback will be to ignore Sony as a company going forward, to anyone that questions them.
To you Sony, I am deeply disappointed in your reasoning for not choosing to repair a 7 month phone on the basis that your feature set is nothing but a lie.
