Why wont you take my money?

Hi telkom

I have held off getting a telkom line for most of my adult life due to your bad reputation, but i bit the bullet and decided to go with your 4MB uncapped package, I have recently moved into a new place where the previous tenants were using your ADSL service right up until the day they moved out. I logged a request and this is what I have been through so far

1) I was informed that the system could not locate my residence
2) after that was resolved then they advised that the exchange was full
3) I called a week later and was informed it was a billing issue.
4) the billing issue was resolved and I was notified that a tech would install on the 10/02/2014
5) an sms was sent last night changing the date to today, thankfully there was someone home.
6) The tech then advises that as the cables were 5 years ago they would not be providing me with ADSL regardless of that fact that I can follow the cable from your exchange directly into my house and the fact that the line was in use 2 months ago, this is ridiculous . if you will not provide me with ADSL please direct me to a competitor that can and if not direct me to your regulator
