Trying to do any upgrade is just 'n nightmare.
1. I had to wait 2 months for the phone we ordered
2. Then they made me stand around 1.5 hours while trying to do the upgrade, just to tell me their systems are down, promising to phone once they were up and running
3. They didn't want to complete the manual forms to do the upgrade (It was close to closing time)
4. I received a phone call a few days later asking why I haven't collected the phone, they have a 24 hour policy.
5. On the next try we were informed that the packages have now changed and it will cost me R500 more than was originally quoted.
6. So after many hours and eventually signing an R 1 500.00 p/m contract my services are now suspended and I can't even use the phone.
7. The account is in my husband's name but customer service refused to talk to me even though he phoned earlier.
8. On asking to speak to the manager I was refused
9. I refused to hang up, so I was placed on hold and disconnected after 10 mins
We've been customers of MTN for a long time, this incident is a great disappointment.
