I have been trying to close my telkom account and telephone line for 6 months now. Telkom has been running a debit order against my account ever since. I used the line extensively, but since i have moved I am unable to use telkom and am restricted to another service provider as prescribed by our new residential area. Couple of issue here:
- when I go to the telkom shop I get nowhere and I am told to use the phone to talk to someone
- I have spoken to 4 different consultants to explain myself over and over
- I am getting billed monthly for the service which I am not using anymore, which I have requested to be closed 6 months ago
- When I phone the complaints number as per the telkom website then i get a message that says that the number does not exist
So this is my last resort. I need to get my money back and close my account. Is that too much to ask??
